A Meadow Gold Holiday Poem

‘Twas the night before Christmas and all through Meadow Gold Dairies,
Every worker was stirring, especially Lani Moo in her prairie;
Many presents were wrapped by MGD helpers with care,
In hopes to create happy memories for all retirees to share;

The special gifts were nestled all snug in the car,
While visions of smiling retirees twinkled like stars;
So Glenn in his slacks and other elves in their caps,
Just began their journey and studied a long O’ahu map;

When out on the Wai’anae lawn, there arose such a clatter,
Clem Lopes saw old friends carrying special gift matter;
After sending well wishes, in the car he drove like a flash,
Tore open highways and to the next neighborhood “MG Milk” car dashed;

The sun in the sky of another new December day,
Happiness embraced Wanda Kane like a golden sun ray;
While going to the north, visiting Flo and Eddie, our wandering car did appear,
To lots of other wonderful retirees spread across here and there;

With a delightful and caring driver, so kind like Mr. Ogata,
Retirees knew in a moment it must be Mr. Muranaka;
More rapid than dock workers loading a truck he came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name;
“Now, Tomi! Now, Keoki! Now, Cliff and Riichi!
Hi, Frank! Hi, Masa! Hi, Toni and Jimmy”
To the shores of Waialua and mountains of Booth Road he calls!
“Take care! Mahalo! and Best Wishes to all!”

So up to the house-top to visit Marie they flew,
With a white carriage full of presents Glenn and his elves came too;
Franky had a broad face and a little round belly,
That shook, when he laughed like a bowl full of jelly.

Richard was healthful and jovial, a right jolly mature elf,
And the MGD visitors laughed together, in spite of themselves;
A wink from Takushi’s eye and a twist of his head,
Soon let us know great memories we created;

With sincere handshakes, they spoke little words,
The dynamic Meadow Gold crew delivered as goodwill stirred;
After laying a finger on the last gift to be delivered,
The Meadow Gold team emptied the gift sack with pleasure;
As the Executive elves sprang to the Milk Mobile that drove out of sight,
The retirees heard Glenn say, “Moo-rry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!”
